Reflections on mistakes

|
I am going to write a beautiful story.

A few months into the year he knew he had made a mistake, and he did the worst thing you can do when you make a mistake.

He ignored it.

Pride, Willfulness, Obstinacy. He simply refused to bow to Shame and continued as if everything was just so wonderful.

A year into Sin, the pain began to set in, so bad it will leave scars. He contemplates again to jump Titanic, but the chill of the sea made him rethink. Out of nothing but sheer cowardice, he remained on board.....

One day he looked around, and saw the smiles on everyone else. It was like a hammer hitting a raw nerve as the flashbacks of the mask of joy he wore. It was like everything else but him was falling into place.... he was falling out.

Then came the undeniable question that some bright spark asked, igniting the gas laying in slumber for a year. It torched him with a burning question.. "What are you doing?"

As if burnt from the heat, he awakens, and the ivory mask shatters. The smile fades and the sting of Reality sets in. Suddenly, he realises is back where he began... L.O.S.T

For a few days, it was a blood moon as days turned to nights, and nights became longer nights. He was like a living zombie, perhaps not even living, but surviving. They call this the melancholy of a shattered dream.

Then, it struck him... A seemingly crazy idea, but it struck him anyway. What if... just what if... he turned back? He had only been with Sin for a year now. Yea, people might jaunt him. But what if he really did it? Would he have chosen the lesser of two evils?

He wrote to the head of Sin, and the reply he got paralleled that of the devil's advocate...

"You still have half a year left with us, even if you turn back... you have to finish your pact"

The mortification certainly was intense... One + Half years... wasted with Sin... This would clearly be a breaking point in his smooth sail.. It would transcend him behind those who were caught in the storm of last summer.... those who only were only 12 months captive.

At a loss for a words, and a loss of will, the days of a zombie returned. He probably hasnt truly smiled for close to a week now. Even his mother whom didnt know what he was Sin-ing in realised.

The key was clear now..... either he'd turn back, and waste a significant portion of his youth... or he could gamble... that he would rewire Titanic's fate..

He finally realised a few months folly could cost him so much.....it was precisely the reason why blind people would leap into canyons.

Again, he chose neither......

At the end of the day, he isn't really is strong as some people think he is. False Pretence does come with with a long price tag.

What else can you say? weakling

Today, he finally got inspired... For so long as his wretched life stank, no teacher ever taught what he could learn today.

"To succeed, you must be passionate in what you do"
"What happens to those who can't find their passion?"
"There's no one with no passion, its simply because they haven't found theirs"

For the first time in his life, he was totally silenced........ Like as shedded shell, there was just nothing to be said. The silence, was not but golden, but deafening.

suchtruthsuchlogicsuchsensesuchinfallibitysuchrighteousnesssuchsimplicity

All in one sentence.

It didnt even take him a few nanos to realise:

He hasn't seen clouds that dont make rain

And he was right all along, there was no need for a bible... for he had already found a living testament.
